More information >PGA Motors is a French company that is one of the main players in the automobile sector. With some 250 dealerships listed in its 2016 call for tenders, PGA Motors has questioned several operators on one issue: to implement an interconnection service on optic fiber media by migrating 180 sites equipped with VPN / MPLS connections (for 8,000 users).
In addition to improving interconnections between its sites, PGA Motors also wanted to provide its dealerships with higher bandwidth to boost productivity in back-office, customer experiences and on-site demos.
Even more than improving performance, the project involves extreme rigour during the migration phase. The activity of concessions requires a very high level of commitment both during the implementation phase and during operation. The specificity of the organization required a very fast deployment and migration (change of operator) without network downtime.
This tender was won by the tandem DCOM Solutions - Sewan. DCOM Solutions is a major telecom player in the Poitou-Charentes region, dealing with clients such as MACIF, MAIF and Laboratoire Lilly France.
